Piaget created a bespoke service on watch design during the 70s and 80s. They allowed customers to choose materials and stones for the case/ bracelet/ dial.

This watch features a very rare Bloodstone dial. This stone is an opaque green jasper with red inclusions of hematite. The red inclusions may resemble spots of blood, hence the name bloodstone. This ancient gemstone was used by the Babylonians to make seals and amulets and it was believed to have healing powers.

The integrated bracelet is beautifully designed by Piaget, made in 18ct white gold with a hammered finish. Most integrated bracelets would have to be cut down to fit each customer, however this clever design allows the clasp to move along set notches to fit the wearer’s wrist.

This watch is fitted with the thin manual wind calibre 9p which was regarded for accuracy and its slim size for dress watches by Piaget.
